Penn State picks up NSD commitment from 3-star OL recruit out of Washington
Penn State added an inside offensive lineman to its 2022 recruiting class. Olaivavega ‘Vega’ Loane chose the Nittany Lions over the likes of Minnesota, Washington, Arizona, and Arizona State.
Loane comes in at 6-foot-4, 320 pounds from Graham-Kapowsin High School in Graham, Washington. He is the 26th-best at his position, and 9th-best from Washington. Loane is a 3-star recruit per the 247Sports Composite.

Loane helps pad an already impressive recruiting class for James Franklin at Penn State. The Nittany Lions have the No. 2 ranked in the B1G and 6th-best class of 2022 overall. The recruiting class has 3 5-star recruits, 13 4-star recruits, and 9 3-star recruits.
Loane will now be heading to Happy Valley to continue his playing career.
