Penn State’s 2019 recruiting class just got a little bigger.

Monday, 4-star offensive lineman Saleem Wormley gave his verbal commitment to the Nittany Lions, choosing Penn State over offers from 16 other programs. He is ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit out of the state of Delaware.

Wormley is ranked as a top 15 offensive guard in the class and is a top 300 talent overall, according to 247Sports. He had offers from two other B1G programs, Maryland and Rutgers, and also held offers from Notre Dame, Tennessee, Pitt and West Virginia.

The addition of Wormley gives Penn State its 11th commitment of the 2019 recruiting class, which is currently ranked No. 17 nationally and third in the B1G, behind Ohio State and Michigan.
