Penn State just released one of the funniest videos you’ll see all week.

In honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day, Penn State shared a video featuring coach James Franklin and his daughters. It’s a mashup of a speech given by Franklin and his daughters showing love for the Nittany Lions.

Here’s the clip:

The video hits on themes like work ethic and having a passion for the game of football. It also shows Franklin’s daughters going through a workout, studying film, dancing in the locker room and chanting ‘We are Penn State!’

This is a great and heartfelt way to recognize National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Franklin also sent out this message earlier in the day:

Things are generally positive at State College right now, as the Nittany Lions finalized another top-25 recruiting class on Wednesday. Penn State’s 2021 class is ranked No. 21 nationally and No. 6 in the Big Ten, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

PSU is capable of having a stronger class, but that’s mostly a product of only signing 16 players in this cycle. Penn State’s average star rating of 89.07 would put the class much higher up the rankings.

It’s very early in the cycle, but things appear to be looking up already for next season — PSU currently has the No. 3 class in the nation for 2022 according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
