Tuesday was a difficult day for everyone in the B1G. It was most devastating to the players and coaches who learned that their seasons were canceled this fall, with the hope of playing again in the spring.

On Saturday, Penn State’s football program shared a video of head coach James Franklin speaking with his players after the decision came down on Tuesday. He had previously been in full support of his players who were anxious to get back on the field and play in 2020.

No video of the conversation was shown, but the message was clear — Franklin will do everything in his power to be there for his players. For the seniors within the program especially, he wants to help send them out the right way.

Penn State was 11-2 last season and was considered the biggest contender to Ohio State in the B1G East. There was plenty of buzz surrounding Happy Valley entering this season.
