Penn State reportedly promoting Ricky Rahne to offensive coordinator
Penn State has reportedly found a replacement for offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead.
According to Tyler Feldman of WBNG, the Nittany Lions are expected to name Ricky Rahne, the current passing game coordinator and tight ends coach, as the successor to the position. In addition to offensive coordinator, Rahne will be quarterbacks coach.

Rahne has been at Penn State since 2014, serving as the passing game coordinator each of those seasons. He’s also had stints at Vanderbilt, Kansas State, Cornell and Holy Cross. This would be his first role as offensive coordinator.
Rahne will be replacing Moorhead, who accepted the head coaching job at Mississippi State.
With Moorhead not coaching in Penn State’s bowl game, Rahne may take over duties shortly in Happy Valley.
