Penn State reveals schedule change for 2 contests following previous postponements
Penn State has been back on the court since a pause to start the month of January, and two games have been rescheduled since being previously postponed.
To start 2021, the Nittany Lions postponed games against Wisconsin, Ohio State, Michigan, and Rutgers. Since then, Penn State has returned to the court with games against Purdue, Illinois, and Rutgers.
Now, the B1G has worked to reschedule games against Michigan and Wisconsin for Jan. 27 and Jan. 30, respectively. Check it out:
🚨 Schedule updates 🚨
Mark your calendars (again)! Your Nittany Lions welcome No. 7 Michigan Wed., Jan 27 at 7 p.m. Game vs. #10 Wisconsin moves to Sat., Jan. 30. https://t.co/zBCjL5tPf3 🔵🦁⚪ pic.twitter.com/BhGlop8nvk— Penn State Men’s Basketball (@PennStateMBB) January 22, 2021
Penn State was initially scheduled to play Wisconsin on the 27th and Nebraska on the 30th. Unfortunately, the game against the Huskers has been postponed due to issues within Nebraska’s program.
That postponement allows for the Nittany Lions to fit the game against Michigan into the new schedule with Wisconsin simply being pushed back a few days.
Before playing Michigan next week, Penn State will face Northwestern Saturday. Tip-off against the Wildcats is set for 7 pm EST on BTN.
