Penn State recruiting has had a huge uptick over the last few years.

This is thanks to coach James Franklin, of course, but it speaks to the program as a whole as well. The Nittany Lions may not reach the Big Ten Championship game this season, or the College Football Playoff. But, the program is on the way up.

One of its commits for the 2019 season, Jaquan Brisker — a 6-foot-2 safety at Lackawanna Community College — had a monstrous game to cap off the team’s regular season. With his performance, not only did he earn NJCAA Defensive Player of the Week honors, but his team concluded its regular season with a perfect record.

Brisker, as mentioned in the tweet, ended up with 7 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2 sacks and a forced fumble in the win.

If he does that on Saturdays for the Nittany Lions, everyone — except for Penn State opponents — will be happy.
