Points may be hard to come by as conditions get worse in East Lansing. That makes this clutch play by Penn State’s Daequan Hardy all the more important.

The snow conditions have already impacted the scoring in a variety of ways. At the end of the first half, Penn State’s Jordan Stout pushed a chip-shot field goal wide of the uprights to keep the score at 20-17.

In the third quarter, the Nittany Lions were able to steal the lead and all the momentum with a big-time defensive play. Hardy was in position for a quick interception thrown by Payton Thorne, and it was off to the races.

The extra point attempt was off the upright, keeping the score at 20-17. The wind is still blustery as the snow continues to fall in East Lansing, setting up what could prove to be a wild finish.
