Penn State has made the cut of contenders still in the running to land a four-star offensive lineman out of Georgia.

On Friday, Dylan Fairchild trimmed down his list of schools to six, five of which are in the SEC. Along with Penn State, the four-star offensive guard is still considering LSU, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Auburn.

Fairchild tweeted out his list of six schools.

Fairchild is a 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive guard out of Cumming, Georgia. He ranks as the No. 158 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class and is the No. 13 prospect from his home state. Among guards in the cycle, Fairchild is listed as the ninth-best.

According to his 247Sports evaluation, Fairchild has a good frame and plenty of strength to push people around. He brings a lot of athleticism to the field at his position and his experience on the wrestling mat helps him on the field.

Penn State is already building a solid class in 2021, but Fairchild would be a significant addition.
