One of the top 200 recruits in the 2020 class has included Penn State among his finalists.

Tuesday, four-star athlete Caziah Holmes — a native of Cocoa, Florida — revealed his top seven schools, making an announcement via Twitter. Penn State was one of the programs to make the cut, the only B1G program included.

It was a list heavy on SEC and ACC teams, as he included Florida, Florida State, Kentucky, Tennessee, Miami and Auburn, as well.

Holmes is listed as a four-star athlete and ranks as the No. 190 player in the 2020 class. He’s also the ninth-best athlete and one of the top 30 prospects out of Florida. He has received 23 offers during the recruiting process.

Penn State has been through a bit of a rollercoaster on the recruiting front this year. The Lions have been able to rake in some top talent this cycle, but have also endured some decommitments over the summer months. Currently, the Nittany Lions rank 10th nationally and sit at No. 3 in the B1G. Ohio State and Michigan are at No. 1 and No. 2, respectively.

While Penn State’s class is already full of talent, James Franklin sure wouldn’t mind adding Holmes to the mix.
