Penn State has done a really good job with the transfer portal over the past couple of seasons.

Needing a pass rusher, they landed a four-year starter at Temple in Arnold Ebeketie and he made a massive impact for the Nittany Lions.

This season is no different. Hitting the portal, they went and grabbed Chop Robinson. A 2021 five-star recruit per 247Sports, Robinson spent one year at Maryland before entering the transfer portal. He comes to Happy Valley with a lot of potential and promise

Head coach James Franklin referred to Robinson as “athletic, fast and strong.” He has also started to turn heads, including safety and team captain Ji’Ayir Brown.

“Chop is just a great player. He’s always been a great player,” Brown said, via Tyler Donohue of Lions247. “He has come in, bought into his role, and he’s really helping us out on this D-line.”

Robinson might be the next star transfer for the Nittany Lions.
