Penn State WR announces departure from program after 3 seasons
Penn State receiver Jaden Dottin is moving on.
On Wednesday afternoon, Dottin announced his intentions to enter the transfer portal. He spent the last 3 seasons with the Nittany Lions.
Here’s his announcement:
Thank You Penn State and everyone involved with me for everything! I am forever grateful! I am now officially in the transfer portal with 3 years of eligibility. DM me for film.

Dottin did not record any statistics over his first 2 seasons at Penn State. In 2022, he had a limited role once again as he caught 2 passes for 14 yards on the season. He made both catches against Ohio back in September.
His departure comes after Penn State has made 2 significant additions in the transfer portal at receiver this week. The Nittany Lions have added former Kent State star Dante Cephas and ex-Florida State receiver Malik McClain. Both of those players are expected to have a role in Penn State’s offense in 2023.
Dottin was a 4-star receiver in the class of 2020. He was the No. 48 receiver in the country for that cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
Dottin is originally from Cambridge, Mass. He will have 3 years of eligibility remaining at his next destination.
