John Dunmore’s time with the Nittany Lions is officially over.

The former 4-star WR officially announced he’s entering the transfer portal on Monday morning:

“My time at the prestigious Pennsylvania State University has been a wonderful experience,” Dunmore said on Twitter. “Especially the fans, much love for you guys and the atmosphere.”

Earlier this month, a Penn State spokesperson said Dunmore was withdrawing from the school for “personal reasons.”

Dunmore was the No. 120 overall player in the 2019 recruiting class, per 247Sports Composite rankings. However, he saw limited time during his first season with the Nittany Lions. Dunmore played in one game (vs. Purdue) and did not record any statistics.

A Hollywood, Fla., native, it’s possible Dunmore will look to transfer closer to home.

Penn State is a little thin at the receiver position, but got a great performance out of Jahan Dotson in its loss to Indiana in Week 1.

The Nittany Lions will look to get back on track on Saturday vs. Ohio State.
