Penn State WR target reportedly decommits from Pac-12 school while on visit
Penn State wide receiver target Tyseer Denmark is back on the market, according to a report.
Denmark had been committed to Oregon since last November, but he has backed off of that pledge according to a report from Rivals.
Denmark is on an official visit to Penn State this weekend. He’s a Philadelphia native and one of the top prospects in the state of Pennsylvania this cycle.
He attends Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia. He’s listed at 5-foot-11, 180 pounds.
If Penn State is able to flip his commitment, it would be a big win for the Nittany Lions. Denmark is the No. 227 overall player and the No. 33 receiver in the country for this cycle, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 3 player from the state of Pennsylvania.
Penn State currently has 17 commits in the class of 2024. The group sits No. 6 nationally, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. However, Denmark would be the first wide receiver to join the class if he does commit to Penn State.
