Penn State wrestling claimed the 2023 Big Ten wrestling title Sunday, capturing their first title since 2019 and their 7th all-time.

The Nittany Lions won 4 individual titles, seeing from Roman Bravo-Young (133), Levi Haines (157), Carter Starocci (174) and Aaron Brooks (184) take home victories.

Penn State finished with a point total of 147.0

The win was a dominant one. Iowa finished 2nd place with 134 points, while Nebraska, Ohio State and Michigan brought up the rear.

Levi Haines’ win was especially impressive. he was named the B1G Freshman of the Year immediately following becoming Penn State’s  first 157-weight winner since 2019.
