What Penn State's James Franklin said during Week 1 press conference
There are a few matchups in Week 1 of the college football season that are sure to get national attention.
Games like Washington-Auburn and Michigan-Notre Dame are just a couple of them. Penn State’s Week 1 game is set for a 3:30 p.m. start time at home with the game being televised on BTN. On Tuesday, coach James Franklin spoke at his press conference with the media.

Franklin: "Pat Freiermuth can factor in the tight end conversation. He's young, but he's a big kid already. You're talking about a guy who is 6-5, 258."

The key to App State's success according to James Franklin? – Speed. "I think it's THE factor." Speed can level the playing field for a team that doesn't have size or strength.
