Pat Freiermuth is an absolute stud at tight end for Penn State. He is a sophomore for the Nittany Lions, but he is three years removed from high school and is therefore eligible for the 2020 NFL Draft.

With that in mind, he made an announcement regarding his future after the team’s final regular season game against Rutgers:

There you have it. Freiermuth is coming back to Penn State for next season. Again, he is one of the best tight ends in the country. He was likely to be drafted in the first couple of rounds in the upcoming draft.

But, that doesn’t outweigh what’s to potentially come for Freiermuth and the Nittany Lions in 2020. Penn State fans should be thrilled with this news.

This season, he has caught 41 passes for 468 yards and seven touchdowns.
