Penn State's season opener vs. West Virginia enters weather delay
Penn State is feeling good in the season opener against West Virginia. However, the Nittany Lions will have to wait a bit longer before returning to the field.
During halftime, lightning strikes were detected in the vicinity of Milan Puskar Stadium in Morgantown. As the weather moves through the area, the game has entered a severe weather delay with the Mountaineers passing along the information at 2:12 pm ET.
Fans attending the game have been urged to seek shelter on the concourse, in the indoor practice facilities or in their vehicles until the storms move out. Further information on resuming play will be passed along when they become available.

Prior to the break, Penn State went up 20-6 via a late touchdown drive from Drew Allar and the offense. After a scoreless first quarter, Allar was on the money with 3 touchdown drives and some big plays sprinkled throughout.
