PFF statistic shows how reliable Penn State WR Jahan Dotson is as downfield target
Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson had 9 receptions for 61 yards during the Nittany Lions 21-17 loss to Michigan. The senior Walter Camp Trophy semifinalist’s long reception on the day was just 17 yards, but over his career at Penn State Dotson has at least one 20-yard reception in 26 career games.
But what is more impressive, is in his four-year stint at Penn State, according to PFF Dotson has yet to drop a 20+ yard pass in the 54 attempts that have come his way.

Also, since 2020 Dotson leads all FBS receivers in 20+ yard touchdowns with 12.
Through 10 games this season, Dotson ranks second in the B1G with 993 receiving yards over his league leading 80 receptions. His 9 touchdowns, 86-yard longest reception and 8 receptions per game all ranks second (or tied for).
