During the third quarter of Saturday’s top-20 showdown at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City, a pivotal call went against the No. 10 Penn State Nittany Lions.

Originally ruled a 16-yard touchdown catch for sophomore tight end Pat Freiermuth, he was spotted just short of the goal-line following a replay review.
After the Nittany Lions were penalized for holding, the team had to end up settling for three points.
Iowa redshirt junior kicker Keith Duncan got the scoring started with a 47-yard field goal late in the first quarter. Thanks to a 22-yard touchdown pass from redshirt sophomore Sean Clifford to classmate KJ Hamler, Penn State took the lead, 7-6, into the break.
Sophomore Jake Pinegar’s 33-yard field goal extended the lead to 10-6 with 2:55 left in the third quarter.
Now in the fourth quarter, Penn State at Iowa is currently airing on ABC. The Nittany Lions still lead, 10-7.
