Penn State did most of its damage back in December. Still, though, there was one big-time target that Penn State wanted to add to its offensive line.

On Wednesday, the Lions got exactly what they were after.

Four-star offensive tackle Rasheed Walker announced that he signed with Penn State:

Walker is the No. 6 offensive tackle and the No. 65 player overall in the 2018 class.

The Waldorf, Maryland native was down to Ohio State and Penn State, but after the Buckeyes signed 5-star offensive tackle Nicholas Petit-Frere, it seemed inevitable that the U.S. Army All-American would choose the Lions.

The addition of Walker meant that the Lions signed 6 top-100 recruits in their 2018 class, which currently ranks No. 2 in the B1G and No. 5 overall. That gave Penn State more top-100 recruits than James Franklin’s previous three classes combined.

The Lions are set to close with their top-rated class of the Franklin era.
