Report: Penn State adding recruiting assistant to football staff
Penn State is reportedly adding a professional scout to its recruiting staff. Rashad Rich, who has been with the Canadian Football League’s Saskatchewan Roughriders since May 2017, will reportedly be an assistant recruiting coordinator on James Franklin’s staff.

Per his LinkedIn page, Rich played college football at Bacone College, where he graduated in 2012. He has worked in coaching as a wide receiver coach at Bishop McNamara High School and an assistant coach at Bishop O’Connell High School. Rich spent over 5 years working with football players with the Perfect Performance training company. In the summer of 2021, he interned as a scout with the Chicago Bears.
