Penn State student-athletes may have been involved in a fight outside a fraternity house on Sunday, according to a report.
OnwardState.com is reporting that a fight occurred outside the Delta Chi fraternity house at 2 a.m. on Sunday. A “group of men” allegedly approached the house and started to fight with fraternity members.
Four members of the fraternity were treated for injuries at a nearby hospital.
“University Athletics and Compliance Officials are assisting with identifying involved parties,” State College police said via a release. “Names of involved parties will be released upon any filing of criminal charges against those charged.”
While police haven’t currently released any names, it appears that some of the individuals involved in the incident were student-athletes at Penn State.
The investigation is ongoing and no other information has been released at this time.
