Myreon Jones will finally be back on the floor for Penn State on Saturday, according to Ben Jones of StateCollege.com.

Jones has missed the last six games for the Nittany Lions due to illness. Earlier this week, it was reported that he was “getting closer” to a return to the court, but his status was still in question heading into the weekend. But Penn State will have its second-leading scorer back on the floor for a big game against Iowa.

Saturday’s game is scheduled for a noon ET tip.

Jones last hit the court on Feb. 4, scoring 20 points in a 75-70 win over Michigan State at Breslin Center. This season, he’s averaging 14.1 points per game, second-best on the team behind only Lamar Stevens.

Penn State enters Saturday’s game with a 21-7 record and is 11-6 in B1G play, two games behind Maryland in the conference standings. A win for the Nittany Lions keeps their regular season title hopes alive, while a loss essentially ends that hope.
