An in-state Penn State target for 2023 is coming down to his decision, and he will announce his commitment this week.

On Sunday, 4-star prospect Rodney Gallagher out of Uniontown, Pennsylvania set his new commitment for Wednesday, May 25:

“After thoughtful consideration with my family, I’ve decided to move my commitment date up to May 25th which is this Wednesday,” wrote Gallagher via Twitter. “It will be at 3pm at Laurel Highlands Hs in the gym and all the public may attend.”

Gallagher previously included Penn State on his top 8 list alongside Pittsburgh, Texas, Virginia Tech, Notre Dame, West Virginia, Oregon and Oklahoma State.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Gallagher is a 4-star ATH for 2023 and the 101st best prospect in the country regardless of position. He is also rated the No. 9 ATH in the country and No. 2 player out of Pennsylvania for the cycle.
