After his performance against Iowa, Saquon Barkley is definitely going to get national recognition.

He’s already been tabbed the B1G Offensive Player of the Week and raced to the front of the Heisman voting, and now, the Rose Bowl has tabbed the Penn State running back as the Player of the Week after Saturday’s game.

The announcement came on Monday.

Barkley had 358 all-purpose yards and scored a touchdown in Saturday’s 21-19 win over Iowa at Kinnick Stadium. After last weekend, he now leads the B1G in receiving yards, receptions and ranks second in rushing yardage.

This was another well deserved award after a sensational performance.
