Saquon Barkley had a Week 2 to forget against the Atlanta Falcons. With the Philadelphia Eagles only 1 first down away from winning the game, Nick Sirianni elected to pass the ball on 3rd down.

Barkley was wide open and would have clinched the game, but he dropped the ball and the Eagles went on to lose 22-21.

On Sunday, he made sure that wouldn’t happen again, as he took over late for the Eagles to get the 15-12 win against the New Orleans Saints.

Barkley gave the Eagles the lead early in the 4th quarter on a 65-yard touchdown run. The Saints would take the lead, but Barkley once again scored a touchdown to give the Eagles the lead for good.

It wasn’t easy for the Eagles, as Sirianni once again made some questionable decisions. Philadelphia went for it on multiple 4th downs when they were in Saints territory but weren’t able to convert.

Last week, Barkley wasn’t able to save the day for the coach, but he did just that on Sunday. Barkley finished the game with 147 yards on 17 carries and both of Philadelphia’s touchdown in the close win.
