Saquon Barkley has been unstoppable in his first season with the Philadelphia Eagles. Some teams have felt it more than others.

Barkley had 2 early touchdown runs in Sunday’s NFC Championship clash with the Washington Commanders. For the Commanders, it was all too familiar to see Barkley put points on the board. The former Penn State standout became the first player in NFL history to have 3 or more games with multiple scores against a single opponent.

As division rivals, the Eagles and Commanders faced off twice during the regular season. Washington could not contain Barkley either time. He logged 26 carries for 146 yards and 2 touchdowns on Nov. 14 in Philadelphia. He followed that up with 29 carries for 150 yards and 2 scores in the Dec. 22 road game.

Barkley wasted no time finding the endzone on Sunday. He went 60 yards to the house on Philadelphia’s first play.

Barkley’s second score extended the lead to 14-3 Eagles after the successful extra point.

Washington has since cut it to 14-12. The game is in the 2nd quarter and airing on FOX.
