The Week 4 shelf in Saquon Barkley’s apartment is getting pretty full.
On Tuesday, it was announced that the Penn State running back was named the Maxwell Award Player of the Week for his performance against Iowa. In case you missed it, Barkley totaled 358 all-purpose yards and wowed a national audience with several incredible moments in a thrilling 21-19 win for the Nittany Lions.

According to the Maxwell Award’s official website “The Maxwell Award for College Player of the Year is the premier award on the ESPN Home Depot College Awards Show, which is nationally televised from Disney World in Florida each December.”
Barkley also was named the B1G Offensive Player of the Week and the Rose Bowl B1G Player of the Week after the impressive outing in Iowa City.
This Saturday, Barkley and Penn State will be in Beaver Stadium to host B1G East foe Indiana.
