Saquon Barkley may have been the most important piece to the Philadelphia Eagles getting over the hump and winning Super Bowl 59 this season. Still, the star running back made sure a forgotten member of the team’s support staff made it into the Super Bowl parade.

On Friday, the Eagles are celebrating their NFL title with a massive parade through Philadelphia. But in the celebration, one piece of Philadelphia’s team was left unaccounted for.

According to Sam Stafford and the WTTW Podcast, the team’s ball boy — known as Aidan Z. — was not on the buses celebrating the victory but was instead lining the route of the parade. Barkley somehow picked out Aidan Z.’s face in the crowd while celebrating and pulled him over the barrier to join the parade.

To those who don’t know about Barkley’s character, it may come as a surprise, but it’s just another example of the kind of person the Penn State product is at his core. Check it out:

On the field, Barkley was one of the best players in the entire NFL this season. He became the 9th player ever with a season of 2,000+ rushing yards to lead the league and eventually broke the single-season record for combined rushing yards (regular season + playoffs) in the Super Bowl.

Saquon Barkley was a first-team All-Pro for his performance, and he’s still making just as big as an impact off of the field.
