Saquon Barkley may have made one of the most memorable plays of the 2024 NFL season.

Barkley and the Philadelphia Eagles welcomed the Jacksonville Jaguars to Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. Barkley, of course, is in his first season with the Eagles after 6 seasons with the New York Giants.

The big question for Barkley was if he would return to the form he enjoyed earlier in his career. So far, the answer has been yes: he entered Week 9 with the second-most yards in the NFL by a running back and has averaged 5.9 yards per carry.

On Sunday, Barkley pulled off the impossible, hurdling a Jaguars defender with his back turned. Take a look at the video below for the sensational play:

Will we see kids look to replicate this on the football field? Maybe. It’s certainly gotten some massive attention either way.

Meanwhile, the Eagles started the season with a 2-2 record but have righted the ship, entering Sunday’s game on a. 3-game winning streak. They came in at 5-2, two games back of the surprising Washington Commanders for first place in the NFC East.

Against his former team in Week 7, Barkley took 17 carries for 176 yards, just 13 yards shy of a career-best.
