Just a few days after declaring for the 2018 NFL Draft, Saquon Barkley has signed with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports for representation as a professional prospect. ESPN’s Darren Rovell broke the news on Wednesday.

According to Rovell, Roc Nation Sports also represents former great college running backs Leonard Fournette (LSU) and Todd Gurley (Georgia). Barkley was regarded as the best all-purpose player in college football this season.

Barkley made the decision to declare for the NFL Draft on New Year’s Eve, one day after Penn State posted a 35-28 win over Washington in the Fiesta Bowl.

Barkley led the B1G in all-purpose yardage this season, racking up 2,329 yards as a runner, receiver and return specialist. He also accounted for 24 total touchdowns on the year.

Numbers don’t tell the whole story on Barkley, though, as the Penn State back is one of the most physically gifted athletes that stepped foot on a field this year. His strength, speed and elusiveness is a combination desired by NFL general managers and coaches.

Barkley is expected to be a high pick in the draft.
