Saquon Barkley sets all-time record for rushing yards in a single NFL season
Saquon Barkley is officially the NFL’s all-time rushing leader for a single season — including the postseason.
He surpasses the previous record held by former Broncos running back Terrell Davis, who rushed for 2,476 yards across the regular season and playoffs back in 1998.
He keeps making history‼️

Barkley broke the record on the final play of the first half as the Eagles ran out the rest of the clock with a 24-0 lead.
Here’s a replay of the big moment:

Barkley just missed out on passing Eric Dickerson for the regular-season record late last year. He came up 100 yards shy of the previous high-water mark after he amassed 2,0005 yards.
Although the NFL has recently extended its season to add a 17th regular season game, Barkley only played in 16 games this season as he and many other Eagles starters did not suit up in Week 18.
Barkley is in his first season with the Eagles. The former Penn State standout began his NFL career with the New York Giants after they selected him with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. Barkley spent more than 6 seasons with the Giants before moving on last offseason.
The Eagles are looking to capture their 2nd-ever Super Bowl title on Sunday night.
