Saquon Barkley plays for the New York Giants, but he was certainly watching Penn State’s win over Auburn Saturday.

A Big Ten program going into an SEC stadium like Auburn’s and hammering them 41-12 is big news. The biggest reason for Penn State’s dominance Saturday was freshman running back Nick Singleton. And he went off.

The Nittany Lions running back carried 10 times for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns, torching Auburn’s defense. He may remind you of former Georgia running back Nick Chubb with his low and compact frame combined with his physical running style.

Following the win over the Auburn Tigers, Barkley shouted out Singleton on social media.

Through 3 weeks, Penn State’s freshman running back has rushed for 334 yards and 4 touchdowns. He’s already having an immediate All-American-type impact for Penn State’s offense.
