Now that former Penn State RB Saquon Barkley is a member of the New York Giants, he’s embracing his new big city lifestyle.
On Tuesday night, he threw out the first pitch at the New York Yankees game, bouncing it just shy of home plate.
He also got a chance to speak with Yankees star OF Aaron Judge, and after seeing how big the young slugger is, joked that he tried to recruit him to join the Giants:
Barkley on Aaron Judge: “He could be a tight end or a D end, easily.”
Barkley recruited Judge to join the Giants squad, but the #Yankees slugger wasn’t biting.

“Aaron Judge is huge. I’ve seen him on TV, but when I saw him in person, I was like, ‘You could play tight end or d-end, like easy, if you wanted to.’ I tried to pitch him to come to the Giants and join the squad, but I think he’s doing OK in baseball.”
Judge is indeed doing just fine in baseball, but you can’t blame Barkley for trying. Judge would be a huge target for QB Eli Manning, towering over most other players in the NFL.
