Saquon Barkley made a statement in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. His performance was his best since Week 16 of the 2019 NFL season, where he had 189 yards rushing and 90 yards receiving along with 2 touchdowns.

Barkley didn’t quite match his numbers from that game. However, he still had 164 yards rushing on the ground, 30 yards receiving, and 1 touchdown.

The New York Giants RB made big plays all game long. One of his best plays was a huge run he had down the sidelines for 68 yards to setup a touchdown.

Barkley did it all, including a risky 2-point conversion that ended up paying off for 1st-year head coach Brian Daboll. Quarterback Daniel Jones shoveled passed it to Barkley, who barreled his way into the end zone.

Thanks to the game-winning 2-point conversion, the Giants beat the Titans 21-20 after a missed 47-yard field goal by kicker Randy Bullock.

The Giants are now 1-0, and will take on the Carolina Panthers at home on Sept. 18.
