Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford has had three straight games with better than a 70% completion percentage, and is coming off a 400-yard performance during the Nittany Lions 38-17 victory over Villanova.

The 4-0 Nittany Lions are now a top-5 team (No. 4), and will host Indiana on Saturday at Beaver Stadium.

The Hoosiers currently have the 11th ranked defense in the B1G in pass yards allowed, giving up 229 yards per game through the air. Indiana does have some talent, and Clifford is particularly worried about Micah McFadden.

“They’re always gonna be pretty aggressive,” said Clifford. “It starts with their linebacker, Micah McFadden. He does it all. Super-talented guy. (Defense is) aggressive and definitely a challenge. We gotta have a great day today.”

A three-year starter, McFadden was a first-team All-Big Ten pick in 2020, had 10 tackles for loss in 2019 and 10.5 more last season. He has five in four games this year, including two sacks, and he has forced two fumbles.

The Hoosiers and Nittany Lions will kickoff at 6:30PM on Saturday, Oct. 2 on ABC.
