Sean Clifford and Penn State are thankfully locked in a tight battle after getting dominated early in the game against Michigan. Coming out of halftime, the Nittany Lions trailed 16-14 but finally found their footing offensively.

The big play came on a huge throw down the sideline. Clifford was pure with the throw to Harrison Wallace III with the play in man-to-man coverage going for 48 yards.

The drive would ultimately stall out for a field goal, but it was an early positive sign to start the second half for the Nittany Lions. Despite those 14 points in the first half, the offense was largely held in check.

We’ll see if Clifford can produce more dimes down the stretch.
