Sean Clifford drops in beautiful dime on TD pass to Pat Freiermuth
Sean Clifford has looked great throwing the ball early on against Michigan!
Penn State’s first-year starter under center looked a bit rattled last week to start the game against Iowa, but he has been dialed in from the start against the Wolverines. He quickly guided the Nittany Lions down the field with two beautiful throws on this drive and capped it with a touchdown.
The play was a beautifully drawn fade to TE Pat Freiermuth. Clifford quickly identified a one-on-one matchup for his big receiver and put up a perfect throw. It left the defender without a chance and was beautifully placed for Freiermuth.
The throw went for seven points and gives the Nittany Lions first blood on the White Out:
