Sean Clifford is a quality quarterback for Penn State. We’ve learned that this year, in what is his first year as a starter.
Not only can he pass, but he can scoot and run when he needs to. He’s proven that already this year as well, but he showed Indiana the ability to use his legs toward the end of the first quarter.
Indiana held a 14-10 lead, but Clifford and the Nittany Lions were driving. Then, on a first-and-10 from the Indiana 38-yard-line, Clifford saw a hole at the line of scrimmage and took off.
He wouldn’t be stopped:

Again, Clifford has an arm. But, he can surely move, too. The touchdown gave Penn State a 17-14 lead going into the second quarter.
