Sean Clifford is showing his absolute best and his absolute worst so far in Week 9.
The game is not even to halftime yet and Clifford has already thrown for 180 yards with 2 TDs and 2 interceptions. The 1st quarter showcased the Nittany Lion offense at its worst, with Clifford throwing interceptions on his first 2 possessions. On the 3rd offensive series, the team punted.

Folks… welcome to the Sean Clifford experience. Two picks and now two TD passes, this one a 23-yard completion to KeAndre Lambert-Smith. Penn State with TDs on back-to-back drives to take the 14-10 lead over Ohio State.
The explosive element of the offense is back.

2 completions to Ohio State

After 1 quarter, it seemed like the game could get away from the Nittany Lions.
Fortunately, the “good” Clifford came out to start the 2nd quarter. Clifford connected with Parker Washington on a 58-yard TD pass to make the score 10-7.
On the next drive, Clifford connected with KeAndre Lambert-Smith on a 23-yard TD to put the Nittany Lions on top, 14-10.
The Buckeyes would add a field goal before the half, but Penn State still leads 14-13.
