Penn State is 0-5 this season for the first time in program history. The Nittany Lions have struggled in key moments this season, unable to close out winnable games against Indiana and Nebraska.
Clifford has been inconsistent all season, but he’s been solid so far on Saturday in Ann Arbor. He completed 10-of-16 passes for 101 yards to go with his rushing touchdown in the first half.
This is just the second time Penn State has scored at least 14 points in its last five games on the road at Michigan. A 35-10 win in 2009 is the lone exception.
