Sean Clifford and KeAndre Lambert-Smith are not playing baseball, but they have broken the Rose Bowl wide open to start the 4th quarter.

Clifford, who is having an excellent finale to his college career, uncorked on a pass to a wide open Lambert-Smith, who practically jogged to the end zone with Utah defenders trailing behind.

Take a look below:

Penn State now leads 28-14 with 14 minutes remaining in the game. Unfortunately for the Utes, starting utah quarterback Cam Rising left the game in the 3rd quarter with an injury after sustaining a big hit. ever since, backup Bryson Barnes has struggled to move the ball effectively.

There is still plenty of time and crazier things have happened, but Penn State is in good shape as we enter the home stretch of the 2023 Rose Bowl.

Lambert-Smith’s 88-yard TD reception is also the longest in Rose Bowl history.
