Seth Lundy and Penn State beat Indiana 85-66 on Wednesday. Lundy spoke about getting over a string of recent slow starts in the 2nd half and passing 1,000 career points at the post game presser.

Penn State actually led Purdue at halftime in their last game, but ended up losing by a score of 76-63. Lundy revealed that the team held a captains-only meeting after the tough loss to the Boilermakers on Sunday.

“We have an older team, and we knew that was unacceptable,” said Lundy.

After Penn State ended a stretch of recent slow starts in the 2nd half, Lundy also surpassed 1,000 career points with a slam dunk. Lundy talked abut how great it was to join such an impressive club.

“It’s a great feeling,” said Lundy. “Not a lot of people, so to be a part of that club, it’s definitely special.”

Penn State goes on the road to take on Wisconsin in Madison next on Jan. 17. Tipoff will be at 8:30 p.m. ET on BTN.
