A start date has been set for Penn State’s spring football schedule.

On 3 is reporting that the Nittany Lions will begin their spring practice slate on Monday, March 21. The team is then permitted to conduct 15 practices in a 34-day window, the standard across major college football.

Penn State will conclude its spring season with its annual Blue-White Game, which is set for Saturday, April 23. A kickoff time has not yet been announced for the spring game.

The Nittany Lions are coming off a disappointing 7-6 season in 2021. They’re looking to rebound an re-establish themselves as contenders in the B1G East heading into 2022.

This year will mark James Franklin’s ninth in State College. In his time, he’s compiled a 67-34 record with three 11-win seasons and one B1G title. Penn State has played in a bowl game seven times.
