Penn State’s Trace McSorley is the recipient of more national accolades after a huge performance against Michigan on Saturday.
On Monday, McSorley was named the Rose Bowl B1G Player of the Week after accounting for 358 total yards and four touchdowns in the Nittany Lions 42-13 win.

McSorley completed 17-of-26 passes for 282 yards and threw for one touchdown against the Wolverines. He added 76 yards and three touchdowns on the ground in the contest.
Saturday’s game against Michigan was the first time McSorley had rushed for multiple touchdowns in a single game this season, though he did throw four touchdown passes against Georgia State in non-conference play.
The Rose Bowl Player of the Week honor comes just one day after he was named the Walter Camp FBS National Player of the Week. His teammate, Saquon Barkley, was tabbed as the B1G’s Offensive Player of the Week earlier on Monday.
