Trace McSorley is having another big game to cap his home career, and he set another school record against Maryland.
With his 694th career completion, McSorley broke the school record for completions. The previous record of 693 was held by Christian Hackenberg.
In addition to adding the completions record, McSorley also holds school records in passing yards and passing touchdowns (9,424 and 74 entering Saturday’s game). His 27 rushing touchdowns entering the Maryland game is also a school record for a quarterback.
Though he could not complete the ultimate goal of bringing home a national championship, McSorley will go down as one of the best players in Penn State history.
