For Penn State fans curious where the Nittany Lions might spend the postseason, there are two bowl games that appear to be the most likely.

According to the York Daily Record, the two most likely landing spots for the Nittany Lions are the Peach Bowl (Atlanta, Georgia) and the Citrus Bowl (Orlando, Florida).

The Peach Bowl would accept two, at-large bids from top 12 teams. The Citrus Bowl would pit Penn State against an SEC foe.

The York Daily Record also says that there’s an outside chance Penn State plays in the Outback Bowl as well, but that trip seems unlikely. That game would also have the Lions facing an SEC opponent.

Penn State finished the season 9-3 with a 6-3 mark in B1G play. A win in a bowl game would give the Lions three straight 10-win seasons, an accomplishment that hasn’t been met since 1980-1982.

Two years ago, Penn State played in the Rose Bowl after winning the B1G Championship Game. It didn’t reach the College Football Playoff field. Last season, the Nittany Lions defeated Washington in the Fiesta Bowl.
