Tyler Warren has done wonders this season in Happy Valley.

The Penn State senior tight end came into Saturday’s regular-season finale against Maryland with 75 catches for 910 yards and 5 touchdowns. He had 1 more game to put the finishing touches on a regular season to remember, and Warren did just that in 1 half of work against the Terrapins.

First off, there was this hurdle after a reception in the first half that went viral:

Then, there were more individual numbers — and records.

With his first catch of the game and 76th catch of the season, Warren set the Big Ten single-season record for catches by a tight end.

Then, with 1:46 left in the first half, Warren set another record when he caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Drew Allar to put the Nittany Lions in command at 31-7. The TD catch was the 17th of his career, which set Penn State’s all-time record for receiving touchdowns by a tight end.

Warren jogged into the locker room at halftime with 5 catches for 60 yards and that touchdown, helping the Nittany Lions to the big lead. With Ohio State losing to Michigan earlier Saturday, Warren and Penn State suddenly have a chance to get into the Big Ten Championship Game, so it might be a memorable day for Warren for more than just individual reasons.
