Tyler Warren, Penn State TE, announces plans for 2024 season
Tyler Warren will don Penn State colors for 1 final season. The Nittany Lions tight end will return for his last year of eligibility in 2024, he announced on Instagram on Friday evening.
“We’ve done some great things as a family, but I do believe the best is yet to come. After much thought and consideration, I’ve decided to return to Penn State for the 2024 season,” he wrote.
Warren, a member of James Franklin’s 2020 recruiting class, redshirted as a true freshman but has developed into a solid scoring target for Drew Allar and the Nittany Lions offense. In 2023, he was named to the B1G’s all-conference 3rd team after totaling 7 touchdown catches — ranking near the top of the conference in that department — with 29 receptions for 295 yards overall. He was also a Senior Bowl watch list member heading into the season.
Warren and Allar have built a strong connection on the football field, and that’s projected to be much stronger in 2024 as Warren wraps up his career in State College.
